Tim & Lyn Newbrander

Tim leads ISI Philly.  Tim loves sports, exploring new places, travel, Coca Cola, ice cream, and learning about new cultures.  Lyn likes cooking international foods and hanging out with friends from many cultures.  They have lived in Japan (Lyn), The Netherlands, and Germany, where they raised three kids.  ​They live in "The House for All Nations" where they welcome everyone.

Pranoy met the Newbranders at New Student Orientation, his first day at Penn in the fall of 2017. He is now known for his love of all things ISI, good discussions, willingness to give a helping hand, and being a cutthroat player of Settlers of Catan. (Don't say you weren't warned!)

​Akshata's roommate brought her to the Newbrander's Welcome Party three days after she had arrived in the US.  She says, "I love meeting new people and making friendships that go beyond just meeting on Friday nights. Being a student leader utilizes my gifts in planning and connecting people with each other.  Come and join us!"
