FIRST FRIDAY CONNECTION and FRIDAY NIGHT COMMUNITY CONNECTION

TOPIC FOR FRIDAY: YOU CAN GET ALL A's AND STILL FLUNK LIFE!

Fall theme: "Soul" Care--or "Taking care of your inner self"

Starting September 7, we will go to our fall format: 6 p.m. dinner, discussion of a short excerpt from the Bible (in this case, one short pithy statement on the topic), dessert, and hanging out. You are welcome to join at any time! Most students are not members of the Christian faith but find the discussions surprisingly interesting, lively and relevant to life. No pressure. All faiths/non-faiths respected and all opinions welcomed.

First Friday Connection

Our First Fridays are usually reserved "just for fun." We kicked off the new semester with a welcome party for new students, and our next "First Friday" will be October 5! Want a party before then? Come to the MIXER we're having after a tour of Philly! Already know Philly/too stressed? You can just come to the Mixer!

Past First Fridays have usually kicked off with dinner and then a party: a photo scavenger hunt, a costume party, game nights, a harvest party Karaoke, holiday parties such as Christmas and Lunar New Year....

Friday Night Connection

All other Fridays: We have dinner and then break up into groups (one for English language learners especially) to discuss a small section from the Bible (no previous knowledge required). All opinions, faith and cultures respected. No lectures and no pressure.

DINNER--Made by LYN, HEATHER, and friends. We know you're hungry! It's healthy, it's delicious, and best of all, it's a FREE dinner. Always vegetarian options. No pork, beef or alcohol are served at our dinners, so no worries!
